Wanted: Dragon Slayer

Any good posts from Craig's List last year? Oh, yes.

2012 Winner
Hands down my favorite Craig's List post for last year:
I am quite sure most of you have seen the rather large green dragon that has been flying over the north east side of Grand Rapids for the better part of a week. I am looking for someone to:

1.) Lure said dragon away from Grand Rapids to a more rural area.
2.) Force said dragon to land in rural area.
3.) Slay said dragon in whatever way you see fit.

No Pay, dragon slaying is it's own reward.

Please note that I am not talking about the red dragon that frequents the area from time to time. He and I have an agreement. (emphasis mine)

Sounds like the start of a good adventure to me!

2012 Runner Up
It even relates to a recent comment thread on this blog.
Woman DM needed for D&D based Adult Bachelor Party

Compared to 2011?
Both of these are better than 2011's winner, which relates to a Super Mario level you've likely not seen before.

  1. I've never even been on Craigslist, though I saw on NetFlix there was some kind of movie or something about it.

    1. It's a great place to buy and sell used dorm room furniture, but the personals section is pure entertainment.

  2. To start with, 30 minutes isn't enough time to get through a single encounter for D&D 3 or 3.5. Secondly, in 30 minutes, typical D&D players wouldn't be over the shock of a topless woman in front of them...

Great concept, but I doubt it would ever work ;-)

    1. I think your priorities are confused.

    2. Nah, the request was for a DM. If you just want a topless woman dancing around, then thats what you ask for, and you don't need craigslist for it.

    3. Sorry, I couldn't hear what you just said due to that loud WHOOSH as the point of it all flew right past you at Mach 3.

But, if it was something about topless women, then try again. I will listen harder.

  3. I notice we never had a topless woman playing at our table.

I'm imagining the reaction of the chaotic mage player right now.

    (probably imagining the wrong thing)

    1. Nope, the woman at your table definitely had her top on. Although it might have been worth it to have seen said Mage's reaction. We probably never would have seen him again and then it would be back to annoying Mr. Annonymous as much as possible. ;-)

    2. I find it ironic that everyone seems to know who "anonymous" is.

    3. Will the real Anonymous, please stand up!

    4. or get a proper profile with a real name on it like ours.
